 Hi! My name is Kathy Jodrey. Want to know a bit about me? Well, I just recently moved from Massachusetts to Florida with my husband, 2 teen aged boys, and our dog Starlight.
The thing you might find most interesting about me is my career history. Like so many others I was a working mom, struggling with all that entails. I had a great job with lots of flexibility and was paid well, but I was stressed to the max.
Like so many other things, my health was something I just took for granted - until I lost total use of my right hand and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 2 months later.
We've all heard stories of how quickly lives can change, and think that will never happen to us. Well, despite the security I thought we had, it happened to us!
Long story short, I was totally incapacitated for about 2 years. Our finances suffered, I was in terrible pain and underwent 3 surgeries over that period, but my family stepped up to the plate and became more unified and appreciative of our blessings as a result of our struggles.
A miracle drug (Embrel) brought me back to health, but I never bounced back to my starting point, and don't feel capable of returning to the demands of a "real job". Instead, I have the great fortune of being my own boss, working from home, and choosing when and how much I want to work.
I've started my own business as a Referring Travel Agent, and am enjoying the many perks of owning a travel business. Not only can I travel for less, but in addition I'm able to take tax deductions for all of my travel expenses (along with internet costs, cell phone, business phone, mileage, and many other typical household expenses).
How's this work? There are 2 levels of what I do. The first level of the business is in promoting my online travel agency, www.GreatExpectationsVacations.com. This online site features not only travel but also offers services such as a bridal honeymoon registry, flowers, event tickets, attractions, even car purchases!

I've been working diligently on this site to provide good info, and will eventually use it to offer products that my viewers are interested in. Looking into doing some more extreme internet marketing to get my site out there for you all to see. I'll keep you posted on my progress, in this about me page.
